Apple lovers, be prepared! Known as the motherland of Azerbaijani apples, Guba is busy preparing for now traditional apple festival to be held on October 8th. The farmers and gardeners will present their best apples, including palmet, semekinka, fudji, gizilehmed, which will also participle in various competitions, such as the biggest apple or the most delicious apple. In addition to the music and dance shows, an interesting feature of this year’s event is the first ever Carpet festival to be held at the same venue, with an option of buying carpets as well.
